A man and a woman found arguing early Thursday morning were both hauled off to jail by police.
Officers were called to the 100-block of Princess Avenue just before 2 a.m. after a reported fight, but they say the “fight” had been just verbal. However, both the people involved turned out to be breaching court orders.
A 26-year-old man was arrested for failing to comply with a probation order that prohibited him from being in Brandon.
A 30-year-old woman, who police say was drunk, was found to be bound by court orders that she abstain from alcohol and abide by a curfew — and was in breach of both. She too was arrested.
Both were held overnight at the Brandon Correctional Centre and were to appear in court Thursday.
