WINNIPEG — Two people have been arrested in the wake of last month’s slaying at Johnny G’s Main Street restaurant in Winnipeg.
Police spokesman Const. Eric Hofley said on Friday that Akech Dut Ajak, 22, has been charged with first-degree murder. Ajak was arrested on Wednesday. Hofley said a 15-year-old boy has also been arrested in connection with the homicide. Investigators had to travel to Calgary to arrest him.
