Two men, one from Brandon and the other from Regina, face multiple charges after an assault that sent a third man to hospital.
The Brandon man, 25, was to appear in court yesterday morning. He’s accused of beating a 24-year-old man and leaving him in an apartment on the 1500-block of 26th Street, where he was later found by police. They were called to the scene at about 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to Brandon hospital for treatment of injuries to his midsection and upper body.
The Brandon suspect is also accused of assaulting the victim’s girlfriend when she tried to intervene, and of smashing a vehicle’s windshield when leaving the area. The girlfriend apparently didn’t need any medical attention.
He’ll face charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault and mischief to property.
A Regina man, also 25, was also to appear in court yesterday, charged with assault causing bodily harm and breach of undertaking.
