A man and woman will face trafficking charges after police raided a home on Keeseekoowenin First Nation and found drugs.
Elphinstone RCMP enlisted the services of a Dauphin police dog for the St. Patrick's Day raid. Information about it was released yesterday.
Officers entered the home with a search warrant at about 2:30 p.m. on March 17, where they found about 42 grams of marijuana and a quantity of cash.
A 36-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested at the home during the search.
Both suspects have been released from police custody, and are facing a number of charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They are scheduled to appear in Minnedosa provincial court on April 17.
Police say they continue to investigate.
