Police made two minor arrests on Monday evening.
One was a 62-year-old man who was found passed out in a back lane in the 600-block between 13th and 14th streets at about 9:20 p.m. He was of no fixed address, police say, and had no one around to care for him, so he spent the night in the drunk tank.
Then, a little over an hour later, police were called to a hotel in the 2700-block of Victoria Avenue.
There they found a 51-year-old man who was apparently causing a disturbance by banging on various room doors. He was drunk and refused to leave when staff tried to kick him out. He, too, spent a night in the drunk tank, and was to be released once he sobered up.
