Pair of motorists to face impaired driving charges

A Shilo man driving the wrong way on 18th Street early Sunday morning is facing drunk driving charges.

Around 1:30 a.m., city police stopped the 28-year-old driver of the vehicle on the 1100-block of 18th Street.

A breath sample revealed he was over the legal limit.

The man will appear in court on May 12 to face his charges.

In a separate incident, a man driving a 2003 Ford pickup truck Friday night is facing a charge as well.

City police stopped a 31-year-old Brandon man on the 00-block of Sixth Street just before midnight.

Police said he provided breath samples more than twice the legal limit.

He will appear in court on May 12 to face an impaired driving charge.
