A man walks into a bar and gets arrested — twice in one day.
He was found in a bar when he wasn’t supposed be, and found in the same bar again about 22 hours later.
City police first spotted 29-year-old Trevor Miles Mousseau in the bar at the Crystal Hotel around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31.
Mousseau was found drunk at a time when he was on a probation order that banned him from drinking establishments.
He was arrested and then released on an order that also banned him from being in bars and effectively placed him under house arrest.
But, shortly before 11:14 p.m. on the same day of his initial arrest, Crystal Hotel staff called police to tell them that Mousseau was back in the bar and refused to leave.
He was rearrested.
In Brandon court on Thursday, he pleaded guilty to breach of probation and two counts of breaching a release order.
Judge Krystyna Tarwid sentenced Mousseau to 60 days in jail, minus seven days time served.
