Reportedly unco-operative, a 38-year-old Brandon woman also showed signs of impairment after getting into a minor collision at a parking lot on Sunday morning, Brandon Police Service reported in a release.
The incident took place at about 3:10 a.m. in a parking lot on the 2600 block of Victoria Avenue, where the suspect backed into a taxi cab in the parking lot.
Police took the suspect to the station, where she was reportedly unco-operative and refused to provide a breath sample.
To ensure her safety until sober, she was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre and was set to be released on Sunday morning on a promise to appear in court, charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.
