Local police say they arrested an adult male on Friday in connection with a robbery that occurred almost a month earlier on the 1200-block of Park Avenue.
A male youth had just taken money out of an ATM on April 5 when he was approached by a group of individuals who demanded his money and threatened to assault him, police said Saturday.
One of the group then assaulted a female companion of the youth.
The youth handed over some money and the group then fled.
Police say following an investigation, a suspect was identified.
A 25-year-old Brandon man was released to appear on June 8 on a charge of robbery with threats of violence.
