Police are investigating a possible link between two truck break-ins overnight Monday in the Glendale Trailer Court.
The first was reported at about 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, when a trailer court resident called to say that someone had tried to steal his truck. The 1991 Chevrolet S-10 had been parked outside the home overnight, and someone had damaged its steering column.
That evening, another resident called to report that his camper trailer and pickup truck had been broken into the same night.
The vehicles had been parked in his home’s driveway. Stolen from inside them were two bags and a green tool box, with several drills and some hand tools inside.
Police say they continue to investigate both thefts.
