Brandon police arrested a 22-year-old woman and charged her with assault causing bodily harm stemming from an incident on Saturday.
At about 12:15 p.m., police received a report that an assault took place in a residence on Garwood Drive.
Investigation revealed a 24-year-old Brandon woman was struck with a bowl, receiving a cut that required stitches.
