A Brandon man faces numerous charges over allegations that he has repeatedly harassed and threatened a woman.
On Wednesday afternoon, police received a report that a woman had been threatened by a man who she has had ongoing problems with.
The woman and man are known to each other, and police say the man is on a probation order that forbids him from having contact with her.
It’s also alleged that, on Jan. 7, the man followed the woman to her home where he threatened and assaulted her.
It’s also alleged that, two months previously, he kept the woman at his home against her will.
A 39-year-old Brandon man is charged with assault, uttering threats, criminal harassment, forcible confinement and breach of probation.
The investigation continues and further charges are possible, police say.
