Thursday proved to be a busy day for Brandon police.
Along with a pair of intoxicated drivers, a teenager accused of stashing cocaine inside a pencil and a man arrested for a months-old break-in, local officers also managed to make 10 other minor arrests in the 24-hour period between Thursday morning and Friday morning.
They say that they made two arrests each for theft under $5,000, for common assault and for being drunk in public.
They also made an arrest for sexual assault, an arrest for domestic assault and an arrest under the Mental Health Act.
The 10th arrest was on the strength of a warrant for previous offences.
