Brandon police investigating what was reported as a stabbing say they found one man with cuts to his arms, but they aren’t sure how it happened.
Officers were called to a possible stabbing on the 100-block of Richmond Avenue just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday. They say they found two men in the rear of a business on the 1400-block of First Street.
They say that no stabbing had occurred, but one of the men had some cuts on his arms. Despite questioning the men, police are still at a loss to explain how the injuries happened
A police dog was brought in to search the area, but no one else was found.
The man with cuts on his arm, a 28-year-old, was treated at hospital.
Police continue to investigate.
