Pot, meth and cash were seized during a drug raid Thursday night in Brandon’s west end.
Brandon police say they executed a search warrant at a home in the 1800 block of McDonald Avenue around 10 p.m.
Two of the four people who were in the home were charged. Two were released without charge after being interviewed.
One of the charged suspects was found with bear spray, and the second was charged with drug possession as he was the resident of the home in which the substances were found.
A search of the residence turned up 15 grams of individually packaged marijuana and 9.5 grams of methamphetamine. There were other signs of drug trafficking, including $585 cash.
The street value of the drugs was about $2,000.
A 16-year old boy was arrested for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (the bear spray) and released to attend court in May.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of ammunition (a shotgun shell) contrary to a prohibition. He was held in custody to make a court appearance on Friday.
