The J.A.R. Centre in Crane River was destroyed by fire late Monday night.
Police are searching for an arsonist after a community centre in Crane River burned to the ground late Monday night.
Officers from McCreary joined area firefighters in fighting the blaze, which was reported at about 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
The J.A.R. Centre in Crane River, located about 100 kilometres northeast of Dauphin, was engulfed in flames by the time authorities arrived. The building was destroyed.
A damage estimate is not available, but it is considered arson.
RCMP are investigating, along with the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and there were no reported injuries.

Could that be the same Crane River where the car of the late grant Moffat was found burnt in the ditch? It seems to be an area where many play with matches
