A woman is fine despite being knocked to the ground during an attempted robbery early Sunday morning.
Police say that the victim was leaving work, at a business on the 3100-block of Victoria Avenue, at about 1 a.m., when she was accosted by two males. They knocked her to the ground and demanded money.
When she refused their demands, police say, the two suspects fled.
She didn’t require medical attention, and eventually reported the robbery at about 7 p.m. that evening.
Both suspects were described as aboriginal in appearance. The first suspect was thought to be in his 30s, with a husky build. He was wearing a puffy black leather jacket, with running shoes and a Winnipeg Jets cap.
The second suspect was said to be wearing a black hoodie, with black pants and running shoes.
Police continue to investigate.
