Police seek suspect in hair salon break-in

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a break and enter to a business.

Sometime overnight between May 18 and 19, thieves broke into a local business.

Modesty Hair Studio, located at 2430 Victoria Ave., was entered through a rear door and a large quantity of cash was stolen from inside.

No suspects have been arrested.

Wanted by police

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this Patrick Dan Chang, who is wanted by police.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Chang, 40, who is charged with breach of recognizance.

Police report that on Sept. 2, 2011, a male suspect was charged and released on a recognizance for possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking a controlled substance.

Police report that on May 14, 2014, the same suspect allegedly breached this court order by failing to abide by his curfew.
