Brandon police had a busy night Friday nabbing drunk drivers.
Around 9:30 p.m., police pulled over a 43-year-old Brandon man driving a 1989 Toyota on the 400-block of 13th Street. The man was charged with impaired driving following a breathalyzer test. He’s scheduled to appear in court this month.
Just minutes later in a separate incident, a 46-year-old Winnipeg man, who was reportedly impaired, drove through an MPI-sponsored checkstop. He spent the night in jail and is scheduled to appear in Brandon court this month.
In a third incident just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, an 18-year-old man from Boissevain was caught speeding on the 2600-block of Victoria Avenue after he failed a breathalyzer test. The man is scheduled to appear in court this month.
