The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a residential break and enter.
Sometime between 11 a.m. and noon on Feb. 9, someone forced open the front door to an apartment on the 100-block of Louise Avenue.
Once inside, they stole a 55-inch Samsung smart television and some oriental cigarettes.
The value of the stolen television is in excess of $2,000.
No arrests have been made regarding this incident.

Wanted by police
The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Tara Valerie Michaelis, who is wanted by police.
Michaelis, 30, is charged with theft and failing to attend court.
Police report that on Feb. 7, 2012, a woman was caught allegedly shoplifting food and cosmetic items from a downtown department store.
After being arrested and later released, the suspect failed to attend court on Dec. 3, 2012.
A warrant of arrest has been issued for Tara Valerie Michaelis.
