Dauphin RCMP released this video capture of a suspect in a robbery at a gas station on Tuesday evening.
A man armed with what appeared to be a rifle or a shotgun made off with cash from a Dauphin gas station after a Tuesday evening robbery.
Dauphin Mounties were called just after 8:30 p.m. to a gas station on Main Street in that city.
They say a single male suspect entered the store, armed with what appeared to be a long gun, and demanded that the clerk empty the till.
The clerk complied and was not harmed. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot, heading south. Police are continuing to investigate, with help from the Dauphin RCMP major crimes unit and forensic identification services.
The suspect is described as being about six feet tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing black track pants, a grey toque and a black jacket with red and white sleeves.
Anyone with information is asked the contact the Dauphin Municipal RCMP at 204-622-5020 or Crime Stoppers.
