Four people were hurt — two fairly seriously — in a rollover Sunday near Gilbert Plains.
Mounties came across the scene of the rollover at around 10 p.m. that evening, although it’s not clear exactly when the crash happened.
A Ford Tempo had been headed west on Highway 5, about five kilometres west of Gilbert Plains, when it apparently lost control and rolled into the north ditch, where it landed upright.
The four passengers were all taken to hospital. Two were later transferred to Winnipeg hospitals, although police say no one’s injuries are considered life-threatening.
Investigators have identified alcohol and lack of seatbelt use as contributing factors.
However, they continue to investigate.
