Premier Greg Selinger will deliver his State of the Province speech today, and new infrastructure money is expected to be announced for the Westman area.
A provincial spokesperson tells the Brandon Sun infrastructure will be a main focus of the address, with a "significant investment" to be announced for roads serving Manitoba’s oilpatch. Another focus will be skills training and development opportunities for young people.
As with any State of the Province address, it will be a time for the premier to reinforce the message outlined in the 2014 budget.
Selinger will discuss the issues and future plans for the province at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Keystone Centre.
