A pair of shoplifters were nabbed by police Tuesday evening after Liquor Mart staff sent them on their way.
Police were called just after 7 p.m. to the south-end Liquor Mart, where staff said they had kicked out a man and a woman who tried to steal alcohol from the store.
Officers located the pair and found them to be in possession of stolen property from two other local stores.
They were also found to be on court orders to have no contact with each other. Police arrested them both.
A 41-year-old woman, of no fixed address, was to appear in court yesterday on charges of theft, two counts of possession of stolen property, breach of undertaking and two counts of breach of probation.
A 33-year-old Brandon man was to also appear in court yesterday to face two theft charges, two counts of possession of stolen property, three counts of breach of undertaking and three counts of breach of probation.
