Soldiers out of CFB Shilo will be hiking and hiding in the Brandon Hills today.
Military training will see troops from the 1st Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery out in the field from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today as they practise long patrolling and evasion skills.
The training exercise won’t use weapons, but will focus on soldiers experiencing the physical rigours of patrolling as well as the difficulties of search and evasion in a realistic operating environment.
