Mounties are looking for a little help from the public as they investigate five separate break-ins in Souris overnight Sunday.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the break-ins, which are believed to have happened between 8 p.m Sunday evening and 8 a.m. Monday morning.
Three of the businesses — including two hair salons and the local newspaper office — were located in one complex, where a door was forced open. A fourth business, an insurance agency, was entered through a window. All four of these businesses are located on Crescent Avenue West.
The fifth break and enter was to a tea house, located on First Street South, where a door was also forced open.
Souris RCMP have called in the Brandon RCMP Forensic Identification Unit and they continue to investigate.
Anyone with any information about these break-ins is asked to call the Souris RCMP at 204-483-2854 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
