Stolen credit cards found, 2 teens charged

At least five stolen credit cards were recovered from a Brandon group home where police also found a stash of other property taken from parked cars over the last month.

Police say that between Aug. 1 and Sept. 4, numerous parked vehicles were entered and rifled through, with property stolen from inside.

That property was found inside a group home on Wednesday and linked to two teenage residents of the home.

They both were arrested the next day.

A 15-year-old boy is to appear in court on Oct. 23, accused of five counts of possessing stolen credit cards and six counts of possessing other stolen property.

A 15-year-old girl will appear in court at the same time on a charge of possession of stolen property.
