Police say two men were cut during a brawl earlier this month, but they have managed to track down a suspect.
Officers were called to First Street and Southern Avenue at about 4:20 a.m. on May 12, where they found two injured men.
Both had been at a party on the 900-block of Dennis Street, where witnesses say a mutual brawl had taken place.
The two injured men had been cut with an edged weapon, police say, and a male suspect was identified.
On Sunday, that suspect was located and arrested.
A 25-year-old Brandon man is to appear in court on July 23 on two counts of assault with a weapon.
