Suspect sought after gaming centre robbery

Mounties are looking for a masked man who knocked over the Keeseekoowenin gaming centre last week.

Police were called at about 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. A lone male, wearing a balaclava and armed with a firearm, had entered the facility demanding cash and cigarettes.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes and cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as wearing a green camouflage jacket and dark pants. Elphinstone RCMP and Brandon RCMP Major Crimes Services continue to investigate.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Elphinstone RCMP at 204-625-2138 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
