A provincial task force reviewing last year’s flood is visiting Brandon today and Souris later this week, and they want to hear from as many people as possible.
The two open houses this week are just the first in a number that will be held across the province.
The 2011 Manitoba Flood Review Task Force has a mandate to consult as broadly as possible within the time available. People can come and go at any point to the drop-in open houses, which will all share the same information.
For people who can’t make it to an open house, the same materials and opportunity for feedback will be available online, at 2011manitobafloodreviewtaskforce.ca.
The task force is in Brandon today, in Salon A of the Keystone Centre, from 48 p.m.
On Thursday, the task force will be in Souris, in the Kirkup Lounge at the Souris Glenwood Memorial Complex, again from 48 p.m.
