Teen on probation nabbed during morning walk

Police checking out a pedestrian early Monday morning discovered he was not supposed to be out and about.

The 17-year-old boy was spotted walking on the 2600-block of McDonald Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. on Monday, and officers say he was on probation — a condition of which included a daily curfew that he was breaching.

The teen was arrested and taken to the Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court later Monday.
