• Six-time Olympian Clara Hughes will be stopping at the Healthy Living Centre on Thursday as part of Clara’s Big Ride national bicycle tour spreading her message about going the distance for mental health. Ride, run, walk and commute with family, friends and neighbours to this event, which will feature autographed door prizes, a performance by Drums Alive, a physical activity display and mental health resources. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the event starts at 6:30 p.m.

• The athletic department is asking for nominations for the 2014 Sports Wall of Fame induction on Oct. 18 as part of BU’s homecoming festivities. All nominations can be submitted online and must be received by June 19. For more info, visit gobobcats.ca/sb_output.aspx?form=26.

Assiniboine Community College

• ACC’s Brandon graduation ceremony will take place Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. at the Keystone Centre. The college invites 2014 graduates and their guests to attend a free pre-grad BBQ bash from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. outside the Keystone Centre. Music and a photo booth will be on site.

• The college’s Adult Collegiate graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 21. For details, visit assiniboine.net/graduation.
