WINNIPEG — Two people suffered serious injuries after the ATV they were on struck a car in Flin Flon Sunday.
The driver of the car, a 54-year-old woman, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. Her passenger, 58, was not hurt.
RCMP said an investigation showed the two males on the ATV, aged 17 and 19, were travelling northbound on Main Street around 11:30 p.m. when they hit the car. Both were transported to hospital with serious injuries. One is still in critical condition.
Alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor. Police also said the ATV driver and his passenger were not wearing helmets.
