Brandon Police Service members search a vehicle after pulling it over for not having a front licence plate on Tuesday. After searching the car, police found a total of about 21 grams of marijuana, along with three dozen ecstacy pills, more than $350 in cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A missing licence plate led police to a cache of drugs earlier this week.
Police say they pulled over a car at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 1400-block of First Street North, since it didn’t have a front licence plate. However, as they were speaking with the driver, officers say they could smell marijuana from inside the car.
After searching the car, police found a total of about 21 grams of marijuana, along with three dozen ecstacy pills, more than $350 in cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
