How often have you observed vehicles being driven with the windows almost entirely covered with frost?
All too often motorists are in too much of a rush to properly wipe off the dew or scrape off the frost.
An obscured windshield or side and rear windows can not only lead to an accident, but is also against the law.
Failing to properly clean your windows of anything that obstructs your view, and that includes dew and frost, is a violation of Section 182 of the Manitoba Highway Traffic Act.
Motorists who use only their wipers and interior heat to try to clean off heavy dew and frost are taking a chance of not only becoming involved in an accident, but also receiving a traffic ticket and subsequent fine.
So, be kind to your pocketbook take the time to wipe and scrape for visibility sake!
Drive with caution and show respect for others on the road!
