A man was robbed after three people threatened him with pepper spray earlier this week.
The victim called police just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, but says the robbery actually happened at about 5 p.m. the day before.
He says he had been on the 1700- or 1800-block of Lorne Avenue when he was approached by three people, all male, all wearing red, who said they were armed with pepper spray and would harm him if he didn't give them money.
After he gave them a small amount of money, he was not injured, police say.
The suspects were described as two who looked aboriginal and one who appeared Caucasian.
Police continue to investigate.
