A truck driver from Winnipeg has been charged following a semi-trailer crash along the Trans-Canada Highway.
The westbound semi-trailer, which was carrying dry good grocery products, crashed and rolled around 5:30 a.m. on Monday about two miles west of Alexander.
It ended up in the north ditch.
The 32-year-old driver from Winnipeg wasn’t hurt but has been charged with imprudent driving.
Police are investigating the possibility that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
