RCMP closed a portion of Highway 2 for about two hours on Sunday following a single-vehicle accident.
“It was an oversized truck and trailer that slid off the road while making a turn and hit the ditch,” an RCMP spokesman said.
The accident, which closed a 3.3-kilometre stretch of the road near Sinclair, happened on Saturday evening.
“We needed to close down the roadway to get some heavy equipment in there to pull it out,” the spokesman said.
There were no injuries as a result of the accident.
