Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will be stopping at Sioux Valley Dakota Nation at approximately 3 p.m. to meet with students and community members at the elementary school.

Trudeau will then join a canvass blitz with Liberal candidate Rolf Dinsdale in Brandon at campaign headquarters (1300 18th St.) at 5:45 p.m., with a rally to follow at 8 p.m.

It will be Trudeau’s third visit to the Wheat City in about seven weeks. He was in Brandon on Sept. 24 and again on Oct. 11.

Meanwhile, federal NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair is back in town for the second time in just over two weeks. He was in Brandon Oct. 28, when he toured Behlen Industries.

Mulcair will tour the flood mitigation area with Mayor Shari Decter Hirst at Queen Elizabeth Park, before checking out Assiniboine Community College’s sustainable greenhouse at the North Hill campus.

Mulcair will then hold a public meet and greet at the Ukrainian Reading Hall with NDP candidate Cory Szczepanski at 5:30 p.m. Both Szczepanski and Mulcair will speak before opening the floor to questions in an informal setting.

well This is the third visit by Trudeau in the last seven weeks while Harper is not bothering. I think it is time to send a strong message to the Harper government. The scandelous treatment of veterans, the continuing saga of Harper appointments being brought to court for corruption(his senior advisor, Bruce Carson, the head of the Conservative Party Fund, Dean del Mastro, the robocalls attempt to cook the election, the boondoogle with military procurment, and on and on. Time to say enough of this contempt of us.
