Two girls caught shoplifting at a Brandon store have been released back to their parents, but they’re expected back in court next month.
Police were called to a business on the 900-block of 18th Street North on Thursday, where staff had the two girls already in custody.
Officers who responded arrested and charged the girls with theft under $5,000.
That’s when they found out that the pair also had outstanding warrants for their arrest on other charges.
The girls, both from Brandon, are to appear in court on Nov. 12 to face all charges.
