Victim gets purse back, breaks tooth

The victim of a purse-snatching chased down the thieves, but in the ensuing struggle, she ended up losing a part of her tooth.

Police were called to the reported robbery at about 8:30 p.m. on May 31, where the victim said two or three people had stolen her purse.

After chasing down the thieves, the victim managed to get her purse back, but during the confrontation was punched in the face, which broke a tooth.

By the time officers arrived to Knowlton Drive, the thieves had fled. A search didn’t turn up any suspects.

However, investigation has led police to at least one suspect. They’ve arrested a 13-year-old girl, who is to appear in court on July 29, charged with robbery.
