An alleged cocaine dealer was nabbed Thursday night after police say they spotted him with open liquor.
Officers in the 100-block of Fifth Street saw the man with an open container at about 11:40 p.m. that night and searched the man who was holding it.
They say they found three cans of beer on him, as well as several individual packages of cocaine — worth an estimated $600.
A 23-year-old Wawanesa man is to appear in court on April 11, on charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, breach of probation and having liquor in an unauthorized place.
