An 18-year-old Brandon man has been charged with possession of cocaine after officers allegedly caught him getting ready to use some of the drug, police say.
Police were responding to a complaint of a noisy party on Balsam Crescent.
Police say while searching a building in the backyard of the residence, officers found the suspect with 1.6 grams of cocaine.
He is due to appear in court in October to face the charge.
