Video surveillance helped police identify a woman accused of stealing beer and liquor earlier this week.
A beer vendor employee called police on Sunday just past noon, saying that a woman had taken 15 beer from the vendor, on the 3400-block of Victoria Avenue. The next day, an employee of the nearby Liquor Mart Express also reported that a woman had taken a can of liquor from that location.
Officers matched a suspect based on videotaped surveillance from both locations, and she was arrested Tuesday.
A 24-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000. She has been released from custody, but is to appear in court on July 7.
