Woman tries to cross bridge, faces charges

A woman who attempted to cross the barricaded Eighth Street Bridge early Saturday morning gave a fake name to city police when she was caught.

After the 24-year-old Brandon woman tried to cross the bridge, which has been closed for nearly four months, police confirmed her actual identity and charged her with breach of recognizance for a curfew violation as well as public mischief.

Interesting. I didn't know that crossing the 8th Street Bridge was a problem. However, was she perhaps driving a vehicle at the time?
