Rebecca Martin of San Clara recently won $10,000 on a Set for Life ticket that she purchased in Brandon.
It was one lucky lunch break for Rebecca Martin.
She has only bought between five and 10 Scratch ’n Win tickets in her life.
But while on a recent lunch break, she decided to buy a Set for Life ticket at the 7-Eleven store on 10th Street in Brandon.
"I like the fact that there’s more than one box to scratch and that you can win more than once," said Martin, who hails from San Clara in the Duck Mountains.
When she first scratched it, she didn’t realize that she had a winner.
"Then I saw that I had three matching $10,000 symbols. I was so happy I was screaming."
Her ticket had three matching symbols in game three, for a $10,000 prize.
She has already made plans for her winnings.
"Right now, I want to save it. I’m going to save it so that it will pay off in the future," she said.
