A pair of youths, who are charged with arson in connection with a devastating house fire, remain in custody.
The charges stem from a blaze that broke out at a 28th Street home in the early morning of June 13.
A family of four managed to escape the burning house but one of their pets was killed.
Two 15-year-old boys were arrested on Thursday and both are now charged with arson with disregard for human life.
They appeared in court on Tuesday and, at their lawyers’ requests, were ordered to remain in custody while waiting for their next court date on July 10.
The youths also face break and enter and theft charges laid in relation to incidents from the same night as the fire.
