The YWCA has announced this year’s crop of nominees for their Women of Distinction awards.
Fifteen women have been nominated for the award, along with four young women.
They’ll be feted at a gala dinner on March 14 at the UCT Pavilion in the Keystone Centre.

• Donalda Whetter, from Hartney;
• Janet Chaboyer, from Brandon;
• Kristen Phillips, from Brandon;
• Lynne MacKay, from Souris;
• Michelle Magnusson, from Brandon;
• Pam May, from MacGregor;
• Phyllis Racette, from Ebb and Flow First Nation;
• Sandra Carballo, from Brandon;
• Susan Palmer, from Brandon;
• Susan Spirolpoulos, from Brandon;
• Trudy Corbett, from Brandon.
The young women nominees are:
• Sydney Sprenger, from Alexander;
• Allyssa Jerrom, from Brandon;
• Rebecca Kingdon, from Onanole;
• Tyla Betke, from Russell.
