ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. - A former chief librarian continues testimony today at the inquiry into the mall collapse in Elliot Lake, Ontario.

Barbara Fazekas tells The Canadian Press she used to like the sound of rain, but not any more.

Fazekas has already testified how the town library moved from one water-logged facility into another — the mall — despite objections from its board.

In his testimony, the architect who designed the mall said he worried about putting the parking deck on top of the mall, saying he had never seen it done.

But he said the owner-developer insisted because it was the cheapest option.

The deck collapsed last June, killing two women.
