Today on the Hill: industry minister unveils new policy for space exploration

OTTAWA - The federal government is hoping to boldly send Canada's space agency where it's never gone before.

Federal Industry Minister James Moore will be at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum today to announce the government's new space policy framework.

He'll be joined by former general Walt Natynczyk, who now heads the Canadian Space Agency.

Other events today on and around Parliament Hill:

— The Supreme Court of Canada issues its decision in the case of Canada Revenue Agency employee Elizabeth Bernard, who didn't want her employer to give her contact information to the union representing CRA employees.

— Statistics Canada releases the monthly employment figures as it issues the January labour force survey.
